Mac Jones played college football at Alabama, where he set the NCAA season records for passer rating and completion percentage as a junior en route to winning the 2021 College Football Playoff National Championship.

Selected by the Patriots in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Mac Jones became their starter at the beginning of his rookie season.

Mac Jones was added to the AFC’s Pro Bowl roster as an alternate, replacing Lamar Jackson after an ankle injury sidelined him through the end of the Ravens’ season.
