Mike Alstott is an American former professional football player.

He played as a fullback in the National Football League for 12 seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
A native of Joliet, Illinois, Alstott played collegiate football at Purdue and was drafted by the Buccaneers in the second round of the 1996 NFL Draft. He then spent his entire 12-year NFL career with the team from 1996 to 2007.
Following his retirement in early 2008, Alstott began coaching Pop Warner and Rec league ball. He subsequently served as the head coach for the Northside Christian Mustangs in St. Petersburg, Florida from 2012 to 2022.

Even though he returned the next season and played in 14 games, and in 16 each of the next two years, his career was thought to be threatening.
Another neck injury forced Alstott to miss the entire 2007 season, leading to his retirement in January 2008.
