According to Erik Slater, after the game, Claxton claimed that he should have known better than to make such a mistake, especially in such an important game where his team was essentially battling for its postseason life.

After 28 minutes of play, Nic Claxton has 18 points on 8 of 9 shooting from the field, four rebounds, two assists, and a steal. He had the best plus/minus among Nets players at plus-13.
