Jamal Musiala lived in Fulda until the age of seven when he relocated to England with his family. Musiala went to primary school at the Corpus Christi School in New Malden and had his For secondary school education at the Whitgift School in Croydon.

Jamal Musiala spent his childhood years at the Chelsea academy. He joined the Bundesliga club Bayern Munich in July 2019 at the age of 16.

On 20 June 2020, Jamal Musiala made his Bundesliga debut against SC Freiburg, becoming the youngest player to play a match for Bayern in the Bundesliga at the age of 17 years.

Jamal Musiala was a part of the squad that won the 2019–20 UEFA Champions League. Musiala plays for the Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and the German national team.

Jamal Musiala scored his first Champions League goal in a 4–1 away win over Lazio in the first leg of the round of 16 ties on 23 February 2021 to become the competition’s youngest goalscorer of both English and German nationalities.
