David Edward Williams OBE, known professionally as David Walliams, is an English comedian, actor, writer, and television personality.

He is best known for his work with Matt Lucas on the BBC sketch comedy series Little Britain and Come Fly With Me.
From 2012 to 2022, Walliams was a judge on the television talent show competition Britain’s Got Talent on ITV. He is also a writer of children’s books, having sold more than 37 million copies worldwide.
In November 2022, after controversy erupted regarding leaked disparaging comments made by Walliams to contestants, it was reported that Walliams had decided “to bow out after a ten-year run”,
and that he wished to leave the show “on a high after a wonderful time”. He was replaced by Dancing with the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli.
