Yevgeny Prigozhin Parents: Meet his mother Violetta Prigozhina

Yevgeny Prigozhin is a businessman and entrepreneur from Russia. He is the son of Violetta Prigozhina a former doctor and educator.

His father died when he was young, so his mother supported him and his ailing grandmother by working at a nearby hospital.  His father and stepfather were both Jewish.

Yevgeny Prigozhin was caught stealing in 1981 and sentenced to twelve years in prison for robbery, fraud, and involving teenagers in criminal activity. Following his release from prison in 1990, Prigozhin began selling hot dogs alongside his mother and stepfather in Leningrad’s Aprashaka flea market.

Violetta Prigozhina, Prigozhin’s mother has been the legal owner of Concord Management and Consulting LLC  since 2011, Etalon LLC since 2010, and Credo LLC since 2011.

Because of Prigozhin’s involvement in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the European Union, the United States, Ukraine, and many other countries sanctioned his mother.

Prigozhin has been involved in various business ventures, particularly in the catering industry. He is the founder and owner of the Concord Catering company, which has provided catering services for the Russian government and various events, including international summits and the Sochi Olympics.
