Born in the Czech Republic, Linda has been training at the Mouratoglou Academy in Southern France since 2017; she also trained at the Evert Tennis Academy in January 2021.

Fruhvirtová earned an ITF Junior career-high ranking of world No. 2, on 13 December 2021. Since that time she managed to climb to the WTA ranking of world No. 151, on  August 1, 2022.
