Rupert Murdoch has been married four times, but it all ended in divorce.

The Australia-American businessman and media proprietor Murdoch married his first wife, a former shop assistant and flight attendant, Patricia Booker in 1956.

Through their marriage, the pair had one child, a daughter named Prudence  Murdoch MacLeod in 1958.

Murdoch and Booker divorced in 1967 after eleven years of marriage.

Following Murdoch’s divorce from Booker, he married a Scottish cadet journalist who was working for his Sydney newspaper The Daily Mirror Anna Torv in 1967.

The duo had three children; Elisabeth Murdoch, Lachlan Murdoch, and James Murdoch.

Murdoch and Anna divorced in June 1999. She then received a settlement of $1.2 billion in assets.

Rupert Murdoch subsequently married his third wife, Wendi Deng on June 25, 1999. Wendi was then 30 and a newly appointed vice-president of STAR TV.

The former couple had two daughters through their union; Grace Murdoch and Chloe Murdoch.

However, Murdoch and Deng divorced in 2013.

After his divorce from Deng, Rupert married model and actress Jerry Hall on March 4, 2016, in London, St Bride’s, Fleet Street.

But Hall filed for divorce on July 1, 2022, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce was finalized in August 2022.
