1. Overview
isav is a free Instagram downloader. This policy explains what information we do and do not collect when you use the service.
2. What We Do Not Collect
- We do not require an account and never ask for your Instagram login.
- We do not store the links you paste or the media you download.
- We do not sell personal data or build advertising profiles.
3. What We Process
To resolve a download, the link you submit is sent to our server and to Instagram's public endpoints, then the resulting media is streamed back to you. This happens in the moment and is not retained. Standard server logs may be kept briefly for security and abuse prevention, then deleted.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
The public site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. No consent banner is shown because there is nothing to consent to.
5. Third Parties
To fetch a file, our server requests it from Instagram's and Meta's content delivery network and relays it to you in real time. Nothing is written to disk on our side. Instagram's handling of that request is governed by its own privacy policy.
6. Children
isav is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
7. Changes
We may update this policy; the date above will change accordingly.
